WALKING TOUR OF ST. HENRI, MONTREAL

Mia and I were in Montreal in September working with our pals at le Sensorium and la Ruche to create a version of our project, Hunter, Gatherer, Purveyor. We were asked to look at the neighbourhood of St. Henri--a historically working class community that has seen the effects of gentrification over the last decade. For three days we scoured alleys, front yards, parks, along the canal, and empty lots to collect edible vegetation that we could turn into popsicles. To present the project we took people on a 2.5 hour walking tour of the neighbourhood. Here is a short video of the tour.
